Hola Familia,
So it is already Pday, don't know how that happened, haha. The time has gone by so fast, but I am learning so much. I love being here, I am constantly happy! It is so great. I feel like I am never without the Spirit! Its hard sometimes after we have a really spiritual devo or lesson, because I just want to sit and think about what I am feeling and learning, but we have to continue on to the next activity and everyone gets loud so quickly, but thats okay, I enjoy the moments I have to be in my own thoughts when they come.
I don't think I told you guys this, but we play volleyball and ping pong a lot during gym time, and I have been hit in the face with the ball 4 times! Haha, it hurts, but it is so funny(I guess it is called getting six packed?) and so now we have this joke with one of the elders in 5D that the balls are just attracted to my face, haha.
I meant to say this last week, but Hermana Rodrigues says Hi! She is our morning teacher. We had our last lesson with Victoria (Hermana Velasquez, absolute favorite and afternoon teacher) yesterday and It was so sad! We told her were were tranfering, but that our message is the same evwerywhere and that the new sister missionaries will be just as good and loving as us, if not more so. She is so sweet, I love her so much! We can take pictures with her on Saturday, so by next Pday you will see her. She is so tiny, haha! Smaller than Reina.
We are getting blessings from our district on sunday, I am excited for that.
I am leaving Tuesday at 7 and may or may not be able to email on monday, I am not sure at this piont. I will hopefully be able to call from the airport in Atlanta on tuesday, so that will be around noon maybe? I am not sure, our flight leaves at 7:30 am.
Ah, there was so much else I wanted to say, but I am at an hour already.. Haha oops.
Sunday was amazing, we watched the Christmans devorional from the 1st Presidency for movie night and I loved it! I told Dad this, but I have never loved the Christmas season so much before, at least not for the right reason. I love my savior so much, and and so eternally greatfull for His life, example, love for me and for everyone, and for His perfect infinite Atonement. It is the center of our message, afor without a perfect Atonement, Father's plan of happiness could not be. I hope everyone back home comes to a true appreciation of our Savoir, His birth, life, death, and Resurection. Without Easter, we would not have a Christmas. Those are just some of my thoughts this week.
I love you all so much, and I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you too! They want what is best for you, and if you turn too Heavenly Father in prayer and humbly submit to His will, He will lead you to everlasting happiness! I know this to be true with all my heart!! Have an amazing week everyone, and be gratefull for the small and simple things, and I invite you to seek out and find God's hand in your life! Love always,
-Hermana Stokes
